Nowadays, what you know is no longer as important as what you can do. Due to the technological change that occurred in the 90s, it is now very easy to find any kind of knowledge on the internet. This has made memorizing facts obsolete. Instead, a sense of responsibility, independence, and the ability to perform everyday skills have come to the forefront. The class times depend on the students' location or time zone. Currently, we serve one campus.

Campus 1: 8:00 AM–11:00 AM (UTC-3)
This time is particularly suitable for countries like Paraguay, Bolivia, Colombia, or the Caribbean. However, those living in Europe, for example, who learn better in the afternoon or have other commitments in the morning, can consciously choose Campus 1.

Campus 28:00 AM - 11:00 AM (CET)
This campus is under development. The schedules here are aligned with the European/African diurnal rhythm. Regardless of their location, homeschooling families can then freely choose which class time best suits their daily routine.

A class period is 45 minutes long. There are 15-minute breaks between classes. Usually, there is no lunch break, as the rest of the tasks are completed independently. 

THS.Homeschooling has its own school portal with virtual classrooms. The portal is a central platform for everything related to everyday school life:

Schools usually only require your final report card. For some schools, your child must pass a math or language test. In Germany, schools vary greatly in their requirements. If you already know you plan to return, it's best to inquire with the school of your choice.

The school year at THS.Homeschooling begins every January and ends in December. There is a mid-year progress report in July and a final report card in December. However, your child can start at THS.Homeschooling at any time. 

The registration begins with a non-binding Online Information Meeting or a personal 1:1 Consultation. Afterward, you can register your child for a free, no-obligation trial week using a form. Once you have experienced THS and are sure it's the right fit for your child, you will sign the contract, and your child will be officially enrolled. Here Can you learn more.

THS.Homeschooling offers its students the opportunity to earn a credential with the GED test, not a German Abitur. We cooperate with international educational institutions to enable a suitable degree for your child.

The 12th grade at THS.Homeschooling is a targeted preparatory course for the GED test (General Educational Development Test). The GED is an internationally recognized high school diploma and gives your child access to various educational pathways worldwide.

At the end of 12th grade, students take the GED test through an external provider. The test covers core subjects and is equivalent to a high school diploma.

The following requirements apply for participation:

• Minimum age of 17 years upon entry
• Purchase of the book "GED Test Prep Plus 2024-2025" (Kaplan Test Prep)
• Enrollment in the GED course is possible in January and August of each year.

The book "GED Test Prep Plus 2024-2025" (Kaplan Test Prep) can be found at online retailers such as Amazon, Thalia or other specialty booksellers.
